Vehicle Description
F40 Motorsports is proud to offer this breath taking 1967 Cadillac Eldorado out of Wayne personal Collection. For those who have ever considered a Cadillac for their muscle car garage, this aggressively styled 1967 Eldorado will be the answer to questions unasked. Looking at the covered headlamps, carved-steel body shape, rear quarter treatment and wheel and tire selection, one could declare this as a luxury beast with the power to say, “move over.” In fact, the Eldorado was a standalone from Cadillac in terms of its marketing and called “the dramatic blend of the best of two motoring worlds.” This car was focused on the growing “true performance car” market with unquestioned luxury as well.
For power, this would be the final model season for the 429 CI Cadillac V-8 engine, and on this car it features a rebuilt 4-barrel carburetor, snorkel-design air cleaner, light patina, blue engine paint and the Frigidaire air conditioning compressor with rebuilt clutch. It is backed by an automatic transmission, and this car also has power steering, rebuilt power front disc and rear drum brakes, a new fuel sending unit, a rebuilt radiator and a new battery.
The body is stylish and covered in gray. At its 221-inch length on a 120-inch wheelbase, the ’67 Eldorado was not as long as its sister models, again part of its special market positioning. Contrasting nicely with the paint is the car’s black vinyl roof and matched leather-and-vinyl black interior. There is a center fold-down armrest, three-spoke steering wheel with embedded Cadillac crest, power windows and locks, an AM/FM stereo, in-dash electric clock and even pedal brightwork. A new headlight vented switch has been added as well, and the odometer in the dash reads under 22,000 miles. Outside, the chiseled edges feature mild chrome accenting, flared fenders without skirts, lower rocker trim, Eldorado name plates and the unique-to-this-model front end design. This car rides on a set of 15-inch alloy road wheels now featuring new whitewall tires.
