Vehicle Description

F40 Motorsports is proud to offer this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. This 1967 Camaro was the subject of a ground up restoration in the late 2000’s. The factory Butternut Yellow exterior color and the black vinyl interior were maintained in the restoration. Equipment includes concealed headlights, an RS-style hood with raised simulated air intakes, black vinyl roof and a rear spoiler It was purchased by the current owner from High Octane Classics of Auburn, Mass in February of 2021. The 327ci engine is period correct but has no front deck stamp and therefore cannot be confirmed to be the original factory engine. Immediately following the purchase the current owner had the original speedometer and warning lights replaced with a Dakota Digital gauge set. The original odometer was not working and the current digital mileage is as of installation date. Also replaced was the original two barrel carburetor and intake manifold with a four barrel manifold and a Holley Sniper EFI unit. Additionally the drum brakes were replaced with Wilwood disc brakes (front and rear) and the steering was upgraded with a Borgenson power steering unit. In May of 2021 a replacement sound system was added including a retro head unit, stereo center speaker, 6x9 rear deck speakers, and a subwoofer with amp. A new trunk carpeting kit was installed at that time as well as sound deadening in the trunk. In June of 2022, a second project was completed which saw the original two speed power glide replaced with a four speed TCI 700R4. The front and rear suspension was also updated at this time with a Hotchkis TVS Stage 2 kit. The 14” Rally Wheels wear 205/75R14 radial tires.
