F40 Motorsports is proud to offer this 1 of 1 1967 Mustang Custom Restomod Shelby GT-350 Convertible Engine specs: 347 cubic inch small block Ford. Forged crankshaft, H beam connecting rods, Forged pistons, Aluminum Trck Flow 185 renegade cylinder heads, Steel Billet flywheel, High Performance diaphragm clutch, CVF serpentine belt drive system, Aluminum high flow water pump, Aluminum High rise intake, Holley Sniper Stealth fuel injection with Holley Hyperspark distributor and coil, Shelby Cobra valve covers and oval air cleaner and a Chrome Air Conditioning compressor, pulleys and one wire alternator. The exhaust system has stainless steel long tube headers with custom stainless steel three inch exhaust with an X-pipe and polished exhaust tips custom mad to duplicate. Transmission and rear axle specs: Tremec TKX 5 speed manual transmission with overdrive. Shifter is a custom unit designed to look like an original Shelby shift handle. The drive shaft is a custom made aluminum unit with oversize 1350 u-joints and a strange engineering billet slip yoke. The rear axle is a nine inch Ford unit with a Strange engineering Nodular case with a limited slip differentioal and 3.50 Gears. Suspension and brake specs: Steering box is an upgraded Borgeson power steering unit with a chrome Saginaw pump. The front suspension has been upgraded with handling suspension including upgraded coil springs and sway bar. The rear suspenion has also been upgradedwith custom leaf springs. The front and rear shocks ar Viking double adjustable units. The front power disc brakes are Kelsey Hayes 4 piston units with Hawk high performance pads. The rear brakes are upgraded to ten inch by two inch drum. The power brake booster was upgraded to a Bendix unit. The wheels are custom aluminum duplicates of the original Kelsey Hayes magstars that were installed on the car in 1967. The tires aremodern high performance radial tires. Interior specs: The interior is a complete custom leather in Parchment with black stiching. The high back style seats also have a custom embroidered Cobra snake in each headrest. The dash pad is wrapped in black leather with Parchment stiching. The door panes, kick panels, knee pad and rear seat trim is also wrapped in Parchment leather with black stiching. The carpet is molded and shaped to the floor pan. Dynamat was applied to the entire inside of the floor pan before carpet and insulation was installed. The steering wheel is a custom Shelby Mustang wood rimmed unit with the correct style horn button. The seat belts were upgraded complete tilt steering column. A Sony stereo with XM and Bluetooth capabilities was installed in the dash utilizing a 4 speaker sound system. Body specs: The car was purchased out of Southern California where it has resided since new. It has allof its original sheet metal. The car was a rust free example and has never been in any major accidents. The car was completely disassembled and installed on a rotisserie. The body was stripped to bare metal and refinished using anly high grade PPG paint products. The finish coat is a base/clear coat system. The convertible top was upgraded to a power unit, The rear window was upgraded to a glass unit. All the stainless trim was refinished and polished.. The hood, trunk lid, rear quarter caps, nose panel and the tail light panel are all fiberglass units as they were from Shelby American in 1967. The headlights and tail light were all converted to modern LED units. The rear taillights were converted to a sequential style display.
